AirTAP offers a range of educational opportunities related to airport operations, maintenance, and administration, including sessions at the annual  Minnesota Airports Conference and the AirTAP Fall Forum.

Airports 101

This one-day workshop, designed for new airport managers, focuses on airport operations and management. This year's event is scheduled for December 10 in Mankato, MN.

Airport Economic Impact Study: Methodology and Calculator Training

This one-day training, offered in locations across the state in 2020, will review an airport economic impact study conducted to better understand the impact and importance of state airports and teach attendees how to use a public economic impact calculator.

Minnesota Airports Conference

The 2020 Minnesota Airports Conference will be held April 29–May 1 in Rochester, MN.

Fall Fly-Around

This one-day event brings critical information and technical training to general airport managers in a casual and informal environment.

AirTAP Fall Forum

The annual AirTAP Fall Forum is a two-day event that brings together airport personnel to network and learn about current topics related to aviation and airport operations. Sessions are designed for active learning and invite participation from attendees.

  • Turfgrass Pathology Course
    This course equips turfgrass managers with the expertise necessary for controlling diseases in a challenging environment.
  • MnDOT Office of Aeronautics Courses
    These free training modules cover airport driving and self-inspection, snow and ice control, NOTAMs, and other airport topics.
