Useful Practices - Obtaining Grant Money

Gary Bipes, a Hector Municipal Airport commissioner and city council member, has successfully obtained grants for snow removal and mowing equipment. He works closely with Tracy Schmidt, the Mn/DOT Aeronautics engineer for his region, to make sure that required criteria are met and that all forms are completed correctly. Bipes also works with the city, county, and airport commission to facilitate communication and a shared purpose.
